Roma Joy (Hansen) Collins, age 85 of Merriam, KS, died January 15, 2015. She was born April 28, 1929 in Rush Center, KS, the daughter of Dave Hansen and Christine (Paulsen) Hansen. She married Homer Murrow Collins on February 3, 1952. Homer preceded her death on March 1, 2006. Homer and Roma started a Recreational Vehicle business, C&H Camper and Trailer Sales (Adventure RVs), in 1967. Roma retired from the Small Business Administration. Survivors include her brother, Leon (Babe) Hansen, four children, Vicki Collins, Ed (Paula) Collins, Susan Collins and Dave (Rhonda) Collins; five granddaughters, Suzanne Grace Lynn, Jaime Grace Carr, Christine Collins, Laura Collins, Catelyn Collins Holmes, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she treasured and loved seeing whenever possible.

Services

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Overland Park Lutheran Church to be followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at the same church. Flowers may be sent to Overland Park Lutheran Church (7810 West 79th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66204; 913-642-4461).
