Ronald L. Bierman

Ronald L. Bierman, 64, Olathe, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at his home.

Ronald was born November 14, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a 1965 graduate of Turner High School and a lifelong area resident. Ronald served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, serving two tours of duty. On September 25, 1970, Ronald married Viola Stumpff in Shawnee, Kansas. They owned and operated Shawnee Mission Electric for 37 years.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Bierman, Jr., Robert and Alice Haynes; sister, Wanda Marston; and uncle, George W. Bierman.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Bierman; two sons, Brian Bierman, Kansas City, Kansas, and Brett Bierman, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Sheryl Leavey and Brenda Osborn, both of Shawnee, Kansas; and one grandson, Gage Bierman.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home amd Crematory.
