Ronald Howard

Ronald E. Howard, 72, Merriam, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.

Ronald was born March 17, 1941, in Gaynor, Missouri, to Frank and Anna Howard. He was a 1959 graduate of Maryville High School. On July 16, 1961, Ronald married LaVera Frampton in Maryville, Missouri. At the age of 16, Ronald began work as a meat-cutter and retired 42 years later from Dillon's Grocery Store.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 52 years, LaVera Howard; three daughters, Tina Howard (Robin), Overland Park, Kansas, Terri Shrader (Jeff), Shawnee, Kansas, and Tammy Mathieson (Dave), Lenexa, Kansas; sister, Doris Adamson, Laramie, Wyoming; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
