Ronald Lee Britt Sr. USMC GYSGT Ret. 1953-1973, passed away October 14, 2015 at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer. Ronald was born April 24, 1937 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Aubrey and Minnie Britt. Ronald retired from TWA after 23 years and worked for Long Motor for 10 years. He was a lifetime NRA member that enjoyed the outdoors. Ronald is survived by his wife, Catherine, sons; Ronald Lee (Gwen) Jr., Thomas Wayne (Traci), Jon Mark (Annie), Robert Sean, David Owen, Virgil Bryce Britt, Matthew (Christabelle) Thompson, daughter, Elizabeth (Tim) Bivens, sister, Kathy Cole, twenty one grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Helene Britt, sister, Juanita Scott.

Services

A Funeral Service is set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 17, 2015 at The Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a visitation following from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
