Rosemary Day Nyberg

Rosemary Day Nyberg, 96, of Prairie Village, KS passed away October 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Rosemary was born June 8, 1917 in Great Falls, MT to Madeline Swaim Day and grew up in Wilmette, IL. She was a Gamma Phi Beta at Northwestern University. Rosemary loved bridge club and entertaining. She hosted Kentucky Derby parties for 40+ years. Her sharp wit, humor and strong personality will be greatly missed. Rosemary's family gives heartfelt appreciation to her devoted caregivers. She is survived by her daughters: Ann Bradley and Nancy O'Brien (Thomas); grandchildren: Lisa McNelly (Bob), and Katie Jones; great-grandchild, Jamie McNelly. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ellsworth Nyberg, and son-in-law Patrick Bradley.

A Memorial Service has been scheduled 2:30 PM, Monday October 21, 2013 at Trinity Anglican Church 3920 W 63rd ST, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
