Roy L. Knight

Roy L. Knight, 92, of Mission, KS, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2018.

Mr. Knight was born in Kansas City, KS to Dr. Durell and Bertha (LeFever) Knight. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a lineman for Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 33 years, retiring in 1985.

He married Rosina Bergman on November 25, 1954. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2005. He is survived by a sister, Betty Lee Evans and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roy was an avid investor who used his knowledge and skill to successfully support his family over the years.  He enjoyed working outside in his yard and keeping his house in tip-top shape.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. with funeral services following at 12 p.m., Saturday, October 20th at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Woodson Avenue Bible Church, 6701 Woodson Street, Overland Park, KS, 66204 .
