Russell Wallace

Russell Wallace, 68, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011, at his home.

Russell was born September 6, 1942, to the late Kenneth and Veta Wallace in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 1960. Russell was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a member of the Bishop Ward Council #0292 of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local #41. Russell had two passions in life, NASCAR and Tournament Hunting. He was very devoted to his animals and his family.

Russell is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy; his son Michael Wallace, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee.
