Ruth M. Passaro

Ruth M. Passaro, age 93, passed away June 6, 2013, at Trinity Nursing and Rehab in Merriam, Kansas.

Ruth was born January 11, 1920, in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, to Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brunell. Ruth was a homemaker, and a totally devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. "Nana" delighted in spending time with and spoiling her grandsons. She spent many years volunteering her time at Providence - St. Margaret Hospital and Presbyterian Manor of Kansas City, Kansas.

Ruth is survived by her son, Henry R. Passaro Jr. (Connie) of Merriam, Kansas; grandchildren, Mark J. Passaro of Chicago, Illinois, and Carl N. Passaro of Moberly Missouri; brother, Harold C. Brunell (Marie) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and sister, Grace Kneckel of New Jersey. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Henry R. Passaro, Sr.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday June 13, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
