Ruthie Evelyn Patterson, 42, of Kansas City, KS went home to be with her Lord on December 22, 2013 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Ruthie was born April 15, 1971 to Daniel and Nancy Kasper in Iola, Kansas. She was married on March 23, 1989 to Robin Patterson. Ruthie was an active member of New Life Family Church where she loved teaching Sunday school and looking after the little ones in the nursery. Ruthie was a true "mother bear", she was always protective of her family and enjoyed looking after a special little friend, Kayden. Ruthie was devoted to her family, and always made her children, nieces and nephews feel special.

Ruthie is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Robin C. Patterson, a son, Dylan Patterson; six daughters, Kendra Enriquez and husband Alex; Stephanie Patterson-LeBlanc; Stacy Plough; Angela Dawkins; Tammi Knight; Sarah Patterson; her mother, Nancy Kasper; two sisters, Carol Quillen and husband Randy; Sueann Baker and Jeff; a brother, Charlie Glaze; 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services

A Celebration of Ruthie's Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the New Life Family Church, 4835 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, Kansas 66106.
