Ryan James Grimes, 21, of Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home.  Ryan was born April 3, 1996 to Rich and Teresa Grimes in Tampa, FL.  Ryan was an active member of the Filipino Association of Great Kansas City.  He was a Real Estate agent for Keller Williams and was a member of the National Association of Real Estate Agents, Kansas Association of Real Estate Agents, Missouri Association Real Estate Agents and the Kansas City Real Estate Association.  Ryan was an active member of the Kansas City World Outreach Lions Club and volunteered at Shawnee Hills Senior Living and Shawnee Disaster Preparedness.

He is survived by his parents, Rich and Teresa Grimes; a sister, Rachel Grimes; brother, Reese Grimes; his grandmother, Filipinas Francisco; two aunts, Aurora Phelps and husband Ron; Rowena Francisco; two uncles, Rommel Francisco and wife Xenia; Roberto Francisco and wife Erlinda. He is also survived by several cousins and loving extended family.  Ryan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Edgardo Francisco.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
