Ryan Luke Holscher left this world early morning on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 in Fayetteville, AR.
Luke was born on June 15th, 1984 at Shawnee Mission Hospital in Merriam, KS. He graduated high school from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 2002 and college from The University of Kansas in 2008. Luke was passionate about college basketball and most professional sports, specifically professional soccer and tennis. He loved all kinds of music. Luke held many different jobs in his life and loved the challenge of learning new things. His family and friends were the most important thing to Luke throughout his life. Over his brief 37 years, Luke grew to be a kind, generous, loving and beautiful spirit making a lasting positive impact on everyone he met.
Luke was part of a large extended family. He leaves behind his parents Brett & Stacey (Barrett) Holscher; brothers Jesse (Sylvia) and Sam (Evan Nelson); grandma Sandy Holscher; nephews and nieces Rhys, Aeris and Emma; aunts and uncles Paula Smith (Vern), Susan Hunter, Jan Carter (Dennis), Danny Barrett (Terri), Chris Barrett, Todd Holscher (Jane), Mark Holscher (Debbie) and numerous cousins.
His grandma and grandpa Barrett, uncle David Barrett and aunt Lynda Taggart have already welcomed his spirit with a smile, a big hug and their love.
The family will be holding a memorial service at Amos Funeral home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS Saturday, March 12th. Visitation from 10:00 – 10:30am with service starting at 10:30am. Anyone who knew Luke is welcome to come so we can personally thank you for your friendship to our son.
