Sally H. Marshall

Sally H. Marshall, 81, of Shawnee, formerly of Lee's Summit, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009.

Sally was born, November 14, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from high school in Mexico, Missouri, Sally attended Central College and received a Bachelor's degree of Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. On March 8, 1952, Sally married a dentist from Lee's Summit, Missouri. Dr. Robert E. Lee Marshall in Bentonville, Arkansas. Sally was an accomplished golfer, having scored two aces. Sally enjoyed boating playing bridge, traveling the world with her husband, gardening and being a homemaker. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and Lee's Summit United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at Truman Medical Center.

Sally leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Dr. Robert Marshall of Shawnee, Kansas; daughter Lesa Brazeale and husband Lance, Shawnee; a son Lee Marshall and wife Celeste, Cincinnati, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice, 9220 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.

Memorial Service

A private celebration of Sally's life will be held in the future.
