Sam Fletcher

Sam Fletcher, 17, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011.

Sam was born on September 16, 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri, to William and Rosie (Hayner) Fletcher. He was sophomore at Shawnee Mission North High School and was attending IQ Academy online. Sam was a gifted guitarist, pianist and poet. He loved his family, friends and his pets.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Rosie Fletcher; brother, Eric Fletcher and his wife Lindsay, two beautiful nieces, Alexis and Delaney, all of Kansas City, Kansas; grandparents, Everett and Connie Fletcher, Wichita, Kansas and Harry and Margarita Hayner, Kansas City, Missouri; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sam will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 7:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where a funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
