Our beloved soul departed December 4, 2022. Savitaben lived with love and care for all with selfless support to everyone. She was a prominent member of our Bhakta Samaj. She adored her children. Born on May 1, 1940 and grew up in Syadla. At age of 19 she wedded Rameshbhai Patel. While in Kapura she spent time taking care of the household, she enjoyed cooking. She religiously served all people that she encountered. In 1960 she welcomed her first child Jagrutiben, in 1962 son Nitinbhai, in 1964 Anjanaben, and in 1966 her youngest child Grishmaben. She enjoyed her life in Kapura, She visited Zambia in 1977, and then U.S. in 1993. During this time she had the pleasure of welcoming and raising her grandchildren. After passing of her late husband she moved to the USA to live with her Son. Over the years she showed family and community what the meaning of true unconditional love is, what it means for selfless service. She was divine human being and devout person. She never missed a day without reading Bhagvad Gita and doing mala each morning. Feeding people was utmost importance to her. No one can leave the house without eating. From farm workers to family and friends she made sure everyone had something to eat. She treated and greeted everyone with humble respect. Savitaben was a singer who loved to sing bhajan and garba. She was an instrumental part of Kapura bhajan mandal. Savitaben was also a true caretaker and a motherly figure to many. She was the bond of Rameshbhai Prabhubhai Parivar. It was her passion to feed and help the poor and needy. She provided motherly love and support to her family and community. She made sure everyone would eat on time, household choirs were done. She was truly a homemaker.
Savitaben leaves behind her legacy of doing Bhakti. She was a passionate singer of bhajans and garba. She provided selfless service. She was motherly, had pristine character who can be described as epitome of Bhartiya Sanskruti. She was stately and had self-respect. She lived a fearless life with pure and divine heart. Savitaben is survived by her daughters Jagrutiben, Anjanaben, Grishmaben, Son Nitinbhai and 10 grandchildren.
