Sayphone Noravong

Sayphone Noravong, 77, Shawnee, KS passed away Saturday, Sept 26, 2020 at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

Sayphone was born Jan. 5, 1943 in Laos. He was employed with the Shawnee Mission School District for 20 years, retiring in 2007.

Sayphone is survived by his wife of 51 years, Thongsa Noravong; two sons, Thomas (Suphat Maneesaeng) Noravong and Ted (Trinh) Noravong; daughter, Davone (Bob) Sounakhen; and five grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathalie, Hunter, Eva and Noah.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 1 at the funeral home. Cremation to follow. Covid restriction will apply. Mask will be required.
