Sean Erin Martin, 41, of Kansas City, MO passed away October 7, 2014. He was born Nov. 4, 1972 in Independence, MO to Gary and Barbara Coatney Martin. Sean was a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School, and attended the University of Kansas. He was a laborer, and ironworker, a member of Iron Worker’s Local Union #10 in Kansas City. Sean was gentle, kind, and helpful to anyone in need. He loved most his dogs, his family, and bridges. He was a proud iron worker, writer, gardener, fisherman, and lover and purveyor of tall tales. He will be missed by all who loved him. A public memorial service will announced at a future date. Sean was preceded in death by his Father Gary Martin, Grandfather Edward Cassell, Grandmother Maxine Cassell. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Martin, Mother Barbara Martin, Brothers Chris, Steve, and Kenneth Martin. Grandmother Dorothy Coatney. Stepmother Kathy Martin. Nieces and Nephews Caroline Martin, Ali Cat and Maggie Pie Martin, Kendall Short, Georgia Brantley, and Chael Robinson.

Visitation & Memorial Service

A visitation will be held Monday October 20th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm.
