Just 51 hours after coming into the world, our sweet Arlo passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms at the Overland Park Regional, NICU in OP, KS.  During that fleeting time, he touched many lives and was loved by all who met him.

Born nearly eight weeks early and weighing only 4 lbs, 15 oz, Arlo was still able to grip his mother’s finger and respond to his father’s touch during his brief stay on earth. He had a few wisps of dark hair and the most perfect button nose. He was born at 11:10 a.m. on February 25th and gained his wings on February 27th at 02:00 p.m.

Arlo joins his great-grandfather, Jesus Rodriguez-Parra; great-grandmother, Maria Grajeda de Hernandez ; his great-grandfather and great-grandmother Banafsheh and Hassan Sakopanah; and his heavenly cousin Gonzalez, in heaven. He is survived by his mother and father, Stephanie and Shahin; brother Yolo; his grandparents, Pedro and Luz Maria Hernandez and grandparents Shahin and Kimberly Sakopanah; maternal great-grandparents, Guadalupe Perez de Rodriguez and Manuel Hernandez; paternal great-grandparents Richard "Butch" and Kay Graham; aunts, uncles and 11 cousins.

A celebration of life will take place at The Yellow Barn, in Olathe, KS @ 1pm, Saturday, March 6.  Flowers and condolences may be sent to 13533 Midland Dr, Shawnee, Kansas 66216 . The family would like to thank the Overland Park Regional Hospital staff for their effort and dedication.
