Sharon Bayless

Sharon L. Bayless, 66, of Shawnee, Kansas passed to her maker on April 19, 2009 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Sharon was born November 9, 1942 in Hugoton, Kansas to William and Dolly VonHemel whom preceeded her in death. Shari worked in the Overland Park area for 44 years as a cosmetologist.

She is survived by her husband, E. Leroy Bayless, her children Richard Woodworth, Jeff Bayless, Steve Bayless, Melodie Hughes, Lisa Bayless; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 3 brothers: Bill VonHemel and wife Carol, Topeka, Kansas, David Yeager and wife Jennie, Showlow, Arizona, and Jack Yeager of Topeka, Kansas.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 24, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A celebration of Sharon's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
