Sharon A. Conley

July 10, 1946 — November 8, 2019

Sharon A. Conley, 73, of Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Healthcare Resort of Leawood.

Sharon was born July 10, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Alec Enloe and Phyllis Boyce. Sharon graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1964 and continued to keep in touch with all her friends and classmates.  On August 19, 1972 Sharon married Michael Conley, her high school sweetheart, he preceded her in death on August 23, 2019.  Sharon was a loving mother to their son Chad.  She was always there to support and encourage him in all his activities, such as playing sports, helping him with his Boy Scout journey and navigating the road through adulthood.

Sharon worked for Kansas National Education Association as an administrative assistant for 20 years before her retirement in 2015.  Later in life, Sharon enjoyed meetings with the Cypress Pointe neighborhood book club and playing Words with Friends.  She enjoyed her weekly trips to get her hair and nails done at "Guyla's".  She also looked forward to road trips with her family to explore the country and experience new sights.

Sharon is survived by her son, Chad Conley; a feline son, Ranger; two brothers, Douglas Enloe and wife Jeanne; Stuart Enloe and wife Lois. Sharon is also survived by three sister-in-laws, Nancy Bohlen, Dorothy Sue Scobbie, Sally Detweiler and by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16th at the Amos Family Funeral Home, the funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m.  Sharon will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Lawrenceville Cemetery, Lawrenceville IL at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19.
