Sharon Jennings

Sweet Sharon passed away peacefully in her sleep the afternoon of Wednesday April 13th, fourteen years and a day after her husband Travis. She had been fighting the good fight against Parkinson's for many years without complaint, and decided it was finally time to go home. Sharon was a quiet and gentle soul, and was loved by all who knew her. She was a hard worker, and employed full-time most of her adult life. She lived a fairly simple life and enjoyed traveling, getting together with friends and family, and going to church. She also enjoyed bingo and playing slot machines. Sharon was a loving daughter, and used to visit her mother Pauline every day in the nursing home. She was also a loving mother and grandmother, and leaves behind: her two sons Joseph and Michael, granddaughters Ashley and Cassandra, great-granddaughters Katrina and Sophia. We will miss you Sharon, but we take comfort in knowing you are living the best life…your forever in heaven 🙂

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday April 18, 2016, at the Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, KS.
