Sheri Lynnsue Steele

Sheri Lynnsue Steele, 47, of Wentzville, MO passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Joseph West Medical Center in Lake St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 24 , 2021 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Sheri was born May 7, 1974 in Malvern, Arkansas to Joseph and Yecha Burks. Sheri graduated from Malvern High School in 1992 and attended University of Little Rock-Arkansas. Her sophomore year of college Sheri moved with her family to Chicago and eventually Kansas City where she started her career in the wireless communications industry. In 2012, Sheri took a position as a Market Manager in Arkansas. There is where she met her husband Brian. Sheri and Brian were married on November 20, 2016 in Kansas City. The new couple moved to Galveston, Texas before taking a new position in Springfield, Illinois where she was closer to her family, and eventually settled in Wentzville, MO.

Sheri is survived by her loving husband Brian Steele; daughter, Katelyn Steele and son Tanner Steele; parents, Joseph and Yecha Burks; brother, Thomas Goudy and wife Muoi Tran; sister, Sue Aagesen and husband Nathan; two nephews, Andrew Scholler and Mason Aagesen; two nieces, Yetta Scholler and Annika Aagesen; and many dear friends.
