Shirley C. Cockrell

Shirley C. Cockrell, 86, of Prairie Village, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at her home.

Shirley was born September 2, 1923 to Harry and Inez Mills in La Cygne, Kansas. She graduated from Westport High School in 1941. After high school Shirley married Thomas M. Cockrell on November 21, 1945. He preceded her in death in January 1998.

Shirley is survived by her three sons Steve (Mary) Cockrell, Kansas City, Missouri; Gordon (Lisa) Cockrell, Republic, Missouri; and Jeff (Twyla) Cockrell, Grandview, Missouri; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three nephews and a niece.
