Shirley June Conway, 81, of Olathe, passed away October 30, 2016 at Olathe Medical Center.

Shirley was born January 6, 1935 to the late Percy and Flora Russell in Harrisburg, Illinois. In 1956, Shirley married Michael J. Conway in Kansas City. He preceded her in death in 1989. Shirley was an active member of the Shawnee Church of the Nazarene and Wornall Road Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Shirley also attended the Church of the Resurrection and was a member of a poets group at Village Presbyterian Church. She loved to listen to folk music and Elvis Presley and liked to dance to Big Band Music.

Shirley is survived by her children, David Conway; Jane Berry and husband Jeff; a sister, Charlotte Warwick and husband John; two grandsons, Jack and Josh Berry. Shirley is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Betty and Lois; and a brother Bill.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, November 3rd at the Amos Family Funeral Home, with funeral following at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Antioch Pioneer Cemetery.
