Shirley Ann Davis

September 5, 1939 — February 18, 2017

Shirley Ann Davis, 77, of Shawnee, passed away Saturday, February 18. 2017 at Olathe Hospice House.

Shirley was born September 5, 1939 to the late Roy and Nelda (Wiltse) Catron in Kansas City, Kansas.  She graduated from Washington High School in 1957.  She married Gordon Davis on April 6, 1957.  After graduation, Shirley went to work for Shawnee State Bank where she worked as a Loan Officer before retiring from US Bank in 2001.  She was an active member of Antioch Family Worship Center where she sang with the Ladies Ensemble and taught Sunday School.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of just short of 60 years, Gordon, two daughters, Deborah Slater and husband Chris; Heidi Bradford; two brothers, Charles Catron and Billy Catron; six grandchildren, Charity Farley and husband Albert; Bridgette Fueston and husband James; Ryan Slater and wife Jessica; Kelsey Bradford; Hailey Bradford, Lane Bradford; six great grandchildren, Joseph Farley, Madison Slater, Christopher Farley, Ryder Slater, Shelby Fueston and Tobias James "T.J." Fueston.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 24 at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee.  Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.  Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cameron Memory Gardens in Cameron, Missouri.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Olathe Health Charitable Foundation, 20375 W. 151st Street, Ste. 363, Olathe, Kansas 66061.
