Shirley Greenhaw

Shirley Greenhaw, 82, of Overland Park, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at her home.

Shirley was born April 24, 1930, to the late John and Helen Cashen in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1947. Shortly after graduating from high school she married Donald E. Greenhaw and was married for 56 years before he passed away in 2003. Shirley loved to dance, travel and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Sheryl Gervat; two sons, Kim Greenhaw, Don Greenhaw and wife Marie; a sister, Phyllis Bossert; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great grandchildren on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley is also preceded in death by a son, Edward B. Greenhaw.

Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. Friday, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
