Shirley W. Ray of Olathe, KS passed away at home after a long illness July 14, 2014. She was born April 12, 1926 to Warren and Florence (Ulrich) Watkins in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, U. James Ray, her parents, and brothers; Kenneth, Maynard, and Wilfred Watkins. She is survived by her children; J. Gregory Ray, Susan Jalaie, and Carolyn Boyle, grandchildren, Shawn and Sandra, great-grandchildren, Zachary, Hailey, Rayanna, and Ethaniel. Shirley retired from Electronic Research Co. in 1985. She did volunteer work at O.P. Reg. and 7,000 hours of volunteer work at Shawnee Mission Med. Ctr.

Visitation & Service

A visitation will be held Saturday July 26th from 10 am to 12 pm, at the Hillcrest Christian Church, OP, KS. The funeral service will follow at 12 pm also at the church. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
