Shirley Irene Tensing

Shirley Irene Tensing, 79, of Overland Park, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Luke's South.

Shirley was born September 28, 1929. Shirley enjoyed sewing, wood carving, painting, and gardening. She is survived by a son Ben J. Tensing and wife Stephanie, Plymouth, Minnesota; grandchildren, Evan & Trey Tensing, two sisters Sharon Wilmot, and Joan McCrea, two brothers Bob McCrea; Joel McCrea, and her beloved companion, Maggie.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society.

Visitation and Rosary

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m.
