Shirley R. Wise

Shirley R. Wise, 84, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at her home.

Shirley was born July 12, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles and Matilda (Dalton) Dixon. She was a volunteer at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husbands, Chet Wise and Don Wise; daughter, Gerry Ann Doerr; and brother, Edward Dixon. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Steven) Klopper, Shawnee, Kansas; brother, Tom Dixon, St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sean Doerr, Michael Robinson, Zach Robinson; and two great grandchildren, Triston Robinson and Cassie Doerr.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Friends may call from 12-1 pm Saturday at the chapel. Private burial in the Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
