Spencer Jonas Ratzloff

Spencer Jonas Ratzloff, 33, passed away on October 7, 2023, in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born in Overland Park, KS on September 6, 1990, to loving parents MarySean and Gregg Ratzloff.

Spencer graduated from Mill Valley High School, Shawnee, KS and attended Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Caitlin Taylor, on April 21, 2018. The two moved to Colorado Springs, where Spencer enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. On his days off as a Relativity Application Engineer for Epiq, Spencer's favorite pastimes were fishing, paddle boarding, and walking his pup, Sweet Pea.

Spencer is survived by his wife, Caitlin Ratzloff, Colorado Springs; his parents, Gregg and MarySean Ratzloff, Shawnee, KS; brother, Bennett Ratzloff (Kayla Grodzicki), DeSoto, KS; sister, Alicia Ratzloff (Bex Feustel), Overland Park, KS; his grandmother, Glendyn Buckley, Topeka, KS; aunts, Cathy Ratzloff and Siri Harrell (Rex); uncle, Bobby Buckley; niece and nephews, and many cousins and friends. Spencer was preceded in death by his grandparents, Menford and Donna Ratzloff, and David Buckley.

Spencer's tender heart, loyalty, and kindness will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of Spencer's life will be held on October 19, 2023, at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., with the Celebration of Life immediately following. A dinner reception will follow at the Ratzloff home.
