Stacie Jo Van Daveer, born on February 16, 1981, in KU Medical center , passed away peacefully at her home on July 5, 2024, at the age of 43. 

Stacie lived a vibrant life filled with passion and creativity. As a dedicated GI Tech, she touched many lives with her professionalism and caring nature. Her love for photography, painting, boating, and crafting was evident to all who knew her, as she filled her world with beauty and joy, capturing moments that will be cherished forever.

Stacie was a lifelong learner. She proudly held an Associate's degree and was diligently working towards her Master’s degree, showcasing her commitment to personal growth and development.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Emmanuel and Josephine Fiscus; grandparents Velma Robinson, Kenneth and Dora Bennett; aunts Violet Bennett, Linda McMan, Trisha Royston, Teresa Jordan; uncles Clearance Bennett, Rick Bennett; nephew Chance Sports; and niece Angel Alden. Stacie also joins in rest her in-laws H. Fred and Geraldine VanDaveer, and sister-in-law Gayle.

Stacie leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her surviving family and friends. She is deeply missed by her loving husband Chris VanDaveer; daughters Alex, Dakota VanDaveer of Kansas, Courtney and her significant other Brandon Loftiss of Kansas, Brittney and her significant other Stephan Monreal of Kansas; parents Ernie Bennett and Christy Lyons; and sisters Marie Hamm of Kansas, Nikki Bennett of Eagle Rock, Missouri, and Krista and Brian Alden of Cassville, Missouri.

Her nephews, Daniel Hamm with significant other Paccion Marcus, Nathan Hamm, Anthony Hamm from Kansas, CJ Alden, Cayden Alden, and Mason Alden from Cassville, Missouri, will carry forward her spirit. Her nieces, Monica Rivera, Jasmine Valente of Aurora, Missouri, Desiree Alden, and Anna Alden of Cassville, Missouri, will remember her fondly. 

Stacie's grandchildren, Stella, Stephan III, and Kyle McMan of Kansas, and Zoe Loftiss of Kansas, will grow up with stories of her love and warmth.

Stacie Jo Van Daveer lived a life full of light, creativity, and love, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
