Stanley Eugene House

Stanley E. House, 72, Overland Park, KS passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, KS.

Stan was born April 27, 1946 in Lawrence, KS to Stanley T. and Agnes V. House. He graduated from Lawrence High School and earned his BS degree from the University of Kansas. Stan was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Mosaic Inc. in 2011.

Stan was an avid lifelong KU fan. In honor of Stanley we invite everyone to dress casually in their blue, red or KU attire.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Rebecca House in 2009 and sister, Susie Seetin in 2014. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Erna House; two sons, Thomas House, Kansas City, KS and Andrew House, Overland Park, KS; sister, Nancy Cornelius, Lawrence, KS; three brothers, Ron House, Norman, OK, Fred House, Kansas City, KS and Kent House, Paola, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; and in-laws, who considered him a brother.

Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
