Steven R. Elliott

Steven Elliott, 63, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away September 1, 2021.
A visitation will be from 11am to 12pm Thursday, September 16th at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203 followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Steven was born June 20, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri to Russell and Gena (Marilyn) Elliott.
He made a living as a residential painter and had his own business in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. Then went to work for Justin Thornton Painting for the last ten years.
Steven loved to be outdoors fishing. Or you could always catch him watching a Royals or Chiefs game, in person or on TV.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Russell Elliott; brother Darrel Elliott; and sister Debbie Ruiz.
He is survived by his mother Gene (Marilyn); son Luke Elliott (Darla Elliott); Fiancée Terri Willert, children Chris Willert, Jeremy Willert and Renee Hutson (Matt Hutson);
grandchildren Judd Elliott, Eli, Abby and Owen Hutson.
