Steve Lamb, 47, Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, MO.
Steve was born April 17, 1967 in Paola, KS to Charles and Mary Lamb. He graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1985. He earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana Baptist University and his Master's in Finance from Drake University. Steve worked at UPS for 20 years and then YRC Worldwide for over four years. Currently he was employed with Door Controls Inc. by DORMA. He was a member of Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple. Steve enjoyed travel, especially to Switzerland. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri Lamb; daughter, Stephanie (Neal) Parenza, Hudson, OH; two sons, Shane (Megan) Lamb, Lenexa, KS and Sage Lamb, Shawnee, KS; father and mother, Charles and Mary Lamb, Osawatomie, KS; brother, Rick (Kiris) Lamb, Kansas City, KS; and three grandchildren, Leo Parenza, Olivia Lamb and Kaelyn Parenza.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple, 21533 Midland Dr., Shawnee, KS; burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
