Steven William Schmidt

Steven William Schmidt, 57, Prairie Village, Kansas passed away, Monday, December 15, 2008 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Steven is a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Lamba Chi Alpha of Pittsburg State University, and an active participant of Boy Scout Troop #381. Steven was preceded in death by his father William E. Schmidt Sr. and brother Phillip L. Schmidt. He is survived by his mother Shirley Schmidt, Shawnee, KS; two sons Steven William Schmidt Jr. and Matthew Phillip Schmidt, Prairie Village Kansas; three step- children Stephanie (Brent) Titus-Boepple, Austin, Texas; Robert Titus, Austin, Texas; and Christopher Titus, Dallas, Texas; two sisters Debra K. Schmidt, Leawood, Kansas; and Linda L. (Brent) Franklin, Shawnee, Kansas; a brother William E. Schmidt Jr. (Leona) Mission, Kansas; former wife Gretchen J. Schmidt, Prairie Village , Kansas; two aunts Patricia (Bob) Owens, Hutchinson , Kansas; Marguerite Patzer-Jennings, Kansas City, Missouri; uncle and aunt David (Luana) Schmidt, Lake Clinton, Kansas; eight nieces and nephews, Kim (Tim) Blaski, Overland Park, Kansas; Adrienne (Joe) Padgett, Shawnee, Kansas; Corinne Zipp, Shawnee, Kansas; Rachel, Mallory, Bailey, Brent Jr. and Samuel Franklin, all of Shawnee, Kansas.
