Steven D. Trout

Steven D. Trout, 32, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away September 21, 2011.

Steven was born April 18, 1979, in Overland Park, Kansas, to Larry and Judy (Fain) Trout. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School with the class of 1998.

Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents; Robert and Marie Trout and Richard and Bernice Fain. He is survived by his wife Holly Johnston; children Alexis and Steven Trout, and Hayley, Jay, and Jordan Johnston. He is also survived by his parents Larry and Judy Trout; a brother Daniel Trout and his wife Melissa; nephews Jacob and Rylan Trout, along with many close relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to his children's educational fund c/o Holly Johnston.

Visitation and Memorial Service

A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00, Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, followed by the service at 4 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
