Surjeet Kaur

Surjeet Kaur, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home on October 2nd, 2022 after a strong fight with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was a resident of Lenexa and was born on April 16th 1938 to Inder Singh and Harbans Kaur in Sadhanwali Village, Dera Baba Nanak Tehsil in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, India.

On September 21st, 1958 she married the love of her life, late Amrik Singh Hanjra. She is survived by her sons Balbir, Paramjeet, and Bobby, their wives Harvinder, Kawaljeet, and Kamaljeet Kaur, and her grandchildren’s Sonia, Kunal, his wife Michelle, Rony, Jasmeet, and Raymann Singh. Surjeet was loved by so many and was very caring.

Services will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory located at 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203 on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 from 1-3 PM in Shawnee, KS followed by Path, Ardas and Guru Ka Langar at Midwest Sikh Gurudwara located at 10050 Marion St, Lenexa, KS 66220.
