Susan Zweimiller

Susan Jane Zweimiller passed quietly into heaven on the morning of Feb. 28th, 2013.

Susan was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on Sept. 12, 1940 to William Howard & Chrystal Dell Ridgway. She was their only child. She moved to Kansas City when her father started his career with the Santa Fe railroad. A pioneer of professional business women, Susan worked in the commodities industry, working at the Kansas City Board of Trade starting in the mid-1960’s until she left to work within a start up, non-profit organization, taking an advisory position with the American Business Women’s Association in the early 1970’s. She was still happily working part time with them until her unexpected and brief battle with cancer. She loved her family, friends and her country with passion. She leaves behind her 2 daughters, Kerri (Chuck) Quintana and Shannon(Rick) Sandnes, her grandkids, Justin, Ian, Ciara & 1 great grand-daughter, Ella, many dear friends, cousins and family members who all love and miss her.

A Life Celebration will be 1:00-2:00, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. A brief service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

The family suggests donations to Crossroads Hospice or Wounded Warriors.
