Sylvia Enderle passed away December 15th, 2024, one day after her birthday. She was born on December 14th, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. Her parents, Selmer and Klara Marie, had moved to the United States from Norway. Sylvia studied to become a Registered Nurse after her Dad had suffered a major stroke to help her Mother take care of him.

Sylvia married Jimmy D. Frisbie in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she continued her nursing career. Wherever the family went, Sylvia become the neighborhood Mom, fixing up everyone's cuts and bruises--even when they were in college. The family moved to Shawnee, KS in 1980. After divorcing, she married Raymond Enderle, and they were together until his death on December 13th, 2004.

Sylvia was a very caring and loving person who thought about others until the day she passed. So much so that she asked her daughter to get her doctors and nurses Christmas presents before she passed away. Sylvia was very good with money, investing and balancing her checkbook down to the last penny every month. She enjoyed spending time on her deck and working in the garden with her daughter. She loved her cats and dogs very much, from Collette, Pepe, Muff, Harley and Patches to Sofie Marie. Even the neighbors' dog Waco would come by to get a tasty snack and say hello. Sylvia always talked to them like they could understand her, and they always acted like they did.

Sylvia had one of those contagious laughs that would spread throughout a room. Her favorite show was Monk, with his 312 identified phobias. After retiring, Sylvia and her best friend Camille took classes on craft making. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, she made floral arrangements for all of the nurses at the cancer center, with many still having them on their desks to this day.

Her brother Anker passed away on Christmas day in 2009. Sylvia is survived by her daughter Renee and son David, who both are grateful, and could not have asked for a better Mom. Psalms 37:39 The Lord knows the day of the upright, & their inheritance shall be forever.
