Sylvia Hudson

Sylvia Bernice Hudson, 82, Shawnee, KS passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

Sylvia was born July 29, 1933 in Monticello Township, KS to John Mette and Grace Condron. She was a 1951 graduate of Wyandotte High School, where she met her soon to be husband, Don. They were married on Feb. 3, 1952 in Kansas City, KS.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Beth Hudson on Oct. 11, 1967. She is survived by her husband, Don Hudson, Sr.; five sons, Jeffery (Maggie) Hudson, DeSoto, KS, Bruce Hudson, Shawnee, KS, Barry Hudson, Shawnee, KS, Jon (Sally) Hudson, Appleton, WI and Don (Mindy) Hudson, Jr. Climax Springs, MO; brother, John Mette Condron, Jr., Lake Ozark, MO; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in the Monticello Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
