Thelma “Lucy” Jeffers

Lucy Jeffers, 82, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away February 4, 2011.

She was born April 2, 1928, in Flora, Illinois, to Frederick and Edna (Landreth) Ledbetter. She served in the US Army during WW II.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Frank H. Jeffers in 1989. She is survived by her daughter Susan Liptak and husband Richard of Shawnee, Kansas; son James Jeffers and wife Donna of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Catherine Schreiner and husband Patrick, and Justin Jeffers; great-granddaughter, Morgan Catherine Schreiner; and sister Josephine Jeffers of Chicago, Illinois.
