Thelma “Thel” Maze

Thelma “Thel” Maze of Overland Park, passed away on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. She was 93 years old.

Thel was born on January 17th, 1927 to Harold and Blanche (McElroy) Briney in Beloit, Kansas. Thel married David Haze, Jr. and raised a beautiful family together. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and prided herself in her cooking and homemaking abilities.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Delmar Briney.

She is survived by her husband, David, her son, Eric, a brother, Gerald Briney, and many other loved friends and family members.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens at 2 pm.
