Theodore Paul Goldt

Theodore Paul Goldt, 69, of Overland Park, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Ted was born December 5, 1943, to the late Ernest and Caroline Goldt in Newark, New Jersey. Ted earned an MBA from Rutgers University. He was employed 30 years with Mutual Benefit Life; most recently he was an Adjudicator for Citizenship and Immigration Services. On October 31, 1986 Ted married Clare Suzanne (Poull) Monroe in Olathe, Kansas.

Ted is preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Erler, a brother, Robert Goldt; and an aunt, Emily Arch and husband Theodore. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Rev. Suzi Goldt; two children, Emily Goldt and Evan Christian Goldt; and stepsons, Jason D. Monroe and James D. Monroe, Jr.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Hillcrest Christian Church, 11411 Quivira Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66210.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church.
