Thomas L. Brown, 67, of Basehor, KS passed away Nov. 7, 2014 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Brownie was born July 8, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. He was raised and educated in Topeka, KS by his parents Dr. Roy L. and Mary Brown. He attended Pittsburg State University where he received his B.S., M.S., and E.D.S. in Industrial Technology. Brownie taught for 31 years, 30 of which were spent at Shawnee Mission West High School. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara, son Thomas R. Brown, daughter Amy Carter, daughter Cindy Hall, and eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 pm with a funeral service following at 5:30 at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Shawnee, KS.
Donations in memory of Brownie may be made in lieu of flowers to The Wounded Warriors
