Thomas Witting Conradt

Thomas Conradt, 88, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away September 12, 2018 in his home.

Thomas was born July 22, 1930 in West Point, Iowa to Carl and Rose Conradt. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, parents, his sister Rosemary and brother Carl as well as  one granddaughter Mareta Dale.

Thomas is survived by his sister Gertrude Ketcham, and son's David (Maria) Conradt, Randy Conradt and his partner Jon Gregory, Steve (Martha Sharp) Conradt, Matt (Juanita) Conradt. Three grandchildren Nicole Conradt, Kaylee Hufford, David Sharp. Six Great-grandchildren Hannah, Noah, Joshua, Jacob, Adrian and Joseph.

Thomas worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for thirty seven years, retiring at the age of 62. Thomas also worked as a locksmith, painted houses, and engaged many other pursuits during his spare time.  He was a jack-of-many trades, always working and living for his family. He was also a lover of square dancing, playing cards and dominoes.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson Rd. Mission, KS. Immediately followed by an 11 a.m. Mass. Lunch will follow the funeral mass at the church.
