Thomas Michael Keane, 66 of Lenexa, passed away Sunday, March 6th, 2022 at 10:19 pm peacefully at KU Medical Center.

Tom was born August 28th, 1955 in Jersey City to Eleanor and Michael Keane. He married Kimberly Koval on May 11th, 1991, in Overland Park, KS.

Thomas worked at Colgate Palmolive in Jersey City and transferred to Kansas City in 1987. He was a Tin Smith and finally found a trade he really enjoyed and spent over 20 years in HVAC and the last 13 were with Shawnee Heating and Cooling.

Tom had many friends that will tell you he was one funny, quick witted guy. He loved to play pool and went to Las Vegas for 2 National tournaments. When he retired he was a marshal at Falcon Lakes where he enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and smoking anything and everything on his Pit Barrel Smoker including an apple pie.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Keane, their fur babies, Laurel and Hardy, and her parents Kenneth and Shirley Koval, his brother Kevin (Marykim), nieces, Alyssa and Kelly of Hamilton Township, NJ. Sister-in-law, Diane Keane, niece Daina, nephew Michael (Kirsten) and great nephew Julian of Jackson, NJ. His nieces Joyceylon, Shirley Tobin, and C.J. Judd. He was preceded in death by parents Michael and Eleanor Keane and brother, Michael and fur babies, Stymie, Maggie, Buckwheat and Darla.

Services will be held at Amos Funeral Home on Saturday March 12th. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 with services immediately following.  Amos is located at 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203 on March 12th.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Tom may be made to Great Plains SPCA, their information is provided below.
