Troy Gallagher

Troy Gallagher, 57, of Shawnee, Kansas died August 16, 2022 at his home. Troy was born on February 14, 1965 in San Jose, California to William and Willia (King) Gallagher.

Troy is preceded in death by his parents William and Aloha Gallagher (San Jose CA) and Willa (King) Gallagher (San Jose, CA), grandparents Raymond and Genevieve Gallagher (Placerville, CA) and Clifford and Lillian King (San Jose, CA).  Survivors include his wife Sabrina, Son Cameron and three step children Tabitha, Jenay, Joesph and a previous step daughter Kelsey, and two grandchildren Ava and Braxton all from Shawnee, Kansas; his brothers Steve Gallagher (Ocean Springs, MS); Brian Gallagher (Madison, MS) and sister Paula Gallagher (Placerville, CA).

Troy graduated high school in 1983 from Mt Pleasant High School, San Jose, CA.
He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1985.  He always said “Once a marine always a marine” and “Pain is weakness escaping one’s mind.” And so he was until his final breath.
He put his roots down in Kansas in 1999.  Troy was an avid Raider fan.  He LOVED telling his life stories, always found a way to laugh or smile, making friends every place he went.

A visitation will be 12:00 – 3:00pm, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Amos Family Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
