Troy J. Jordan, 49, of Shawnee, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 29, 2015.

Troy was born July 2, 1966 to Joe and Bobbie Jordan in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Park Hill High School and graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1993, where he loved playing rugby, with a bachelor's in Criminal Justice. Troy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish and worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad since 2008, where he was a member of SMART Local 1403 Transportation Division. Troy was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed drinking McCormick's Irish whiskey at Paddy's Pub, competition BBQ and spending time with his friends and family.

Family was always first in Troy's life, he was a dedicated husband, father and Paddy. On March 17, 2006 he married Dorothy Boudreau in Liberty, Missouri. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his children, McKinsey Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Shannon Jordan, Emilee Jordan, Brianna Smith, Tori Frazier and husband Grant; his parents, Bobbie and Joe Jordan; four grandchildren, Brooklynn Smith, Tucker Smith, Kinadee Frazier and Carson James Frazier.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 4th, at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 5th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. He will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shawnee.
