Tyler Fruehling

September 25, 1986 — June 21, 2018

Tyler Allan Fruehling, 31, Shawnee, KS passed away June 21, 2018 in the loving hands of his parents due to a traffic accident.  He was born September 25, 1986 in Merriam, KS to Todd and Suzy Fruehling.  He was a graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School where he was a three year letterman on the basketball team and Kansas City Kansas Community College where he continued his basketball career.   Tyler worked with his father at SPD Transfer Service.

Tyler had a unique personality that drew people to him and he was not afraid to  be himself.  At a young age, he took an immediate interest in sports, especially Basketball.  This passion continued throughout his entire life.  He enjoyed attending as many sporting events as possible with an extreme love for KU Basketball.  He often said one of the best days of his life was when KU won the National Championship in 2008.  Tyler loved to play golf, watch sports, and have a good time with his many friends.

Tyler was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, William Taylor and Allan Scott Fruehling.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Todd and Suzy Fruehling,  Brothers, William (Bubba) Fruehling, Scott  Fruehling, Trey (AnnaLee) Fruehling, Nephew, Andrew Fruehling, Nieces, Addison and Isla Fruehling, Maternal Grandmother, Molly Taylor, Paternal Grandmother, Bonnie Fruehling and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

He will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26th, from 5:00~7:00 p.m. at Amos Family Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow.
