Tyrone Christopher Frey

Tyrone Christopher Frey, 45, of Overland Park, passed away suddenly Monday, February 15, 2010.

Ty was born January 6, 1965 to Mary and Glen Frey in Denver, Colorado. Ty graduated from Park Hill High School in 1983. After high school Ty received his certification in Auto-CAD from Pratt College in Topeka, Kansas. He was an employee for Butler Manufacturing for over 12 years. He enjoyed working with his hands, and ran his own home improvement business, "AnyThing You Need".

Ty enjoyed spending time with his family camping, boating, and taking long walks. Ty's favorite holiday was 4th of July, and was known for his elaborate fireworks explosions.

On June 30, 1990, Ty married Debbie Hinton at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas. She survives of the home. Ty is also survived by his daughter Dani Jane Frey; sons David Glen and Christopher James Frey; parents Glen and Mary Frey; sister, Julie Brough and husband Bill; mother-in-law, Beverly Jensen; sister and brother in law, Donna and Scott Neal; nieces Katie Jane Neal, Amanda Rachel Brough; nephews Michael Neal, Andrew and Samuel Brough; and dear life long family friend Debi Urteaga.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Frey Children's Educational Fund.

Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
