Usmc Corporal Damion G. Freeman

USMC Corporal Damion G. Freeman, 31, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away August 22, 2012, at his residence.

Damion was born July 10, 1981, to Richard and Gwen Freeman. He worked at MWI Veterinary in management. Damion served a tour in Iraq while proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his loving wife Leslie of the home; daughter, Valyrie (8), son, Dean (2); sisters, Amber Freeman, and Unique Johnson; mother Gwen Freeman; and grandmother, Geraldene Johnson. Damion is preceded in death by his father, Richard G. Freeman.

A visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday August 29, 2012, at the funeral home with burial following at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
